Kostal Solar Electric GmbH

KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH is the latest member of a nearly 100 year old family business, KOSTAL-Group.

The company was founded in 1912 by Leopold Kostal in Lüdenscheid as a manufacturer of installation products for industrial and private applications.

Already 15 years later, they were supplier to the automobile industry. KOSTAL Industrie Elektrik has designed and manufactured components since 1998 to complete solutions for solar energy and inverters.

At the end of 2006 was KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH was founded as a distributor of inverters with his own brand of "PIKO".

As a key component of a solar installation offers these products and fulfill their key task of generating electricity from renewable sources and offer security of supply and independence from the energy in the global market.
